Job summary

Mountain West Medical Center in Tooele, Utah is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency department on a full-time swing shift. The RN will assess, plan, supervise and evaluate nursing care, coordinating with the medical plan of care and hospital policies.

Candidates must hold Utah RN licensure (or equivalent) with required BLS, ALS, PALS within set timelines and TNCC within 1 year of hire. Prior Emergency RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Utah or equivalent.
• BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ALS & PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• TNCC Certification required within 1 year of hire.

JOB SUMMARY:

• The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Musthold current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah or equivalency. *If licensed in a compact state and residing in Utah a Utah State License must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• BLS Certification is required within 30 daysof hire.
• ALS & PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• TNCC Certification required within 1 year of hire.
• 1 year of experience and familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of an Emergency RN preferred.
