Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in the ED to manage individualized patient care and coordinate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. This role supports patients, families, and staff while adhering to the nursing process and hospital policies.

Ideal candidates will have NH nursing licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, and at least 2 years of RN ED experience. Travel reimbursement may be offered for eligible assignments.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with NH license.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Current clinical experience preferred; 2+ years of RN ED experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage individualized patient care using the nursing process.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends.
  • Supervise assigned team members.
  • Report to Nurse Manager and ultimately the Chief Nursing Officer.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. The RN is responsible to their Nurse Manager and ultimately, Chief Nursing Officer.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $41.39/hr - $51.80/hr - $55.94/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's applicable experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Essential Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and current NH License, BLS & ACLS cert required, PALS (preferred)
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills
  • Current clinical experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of prior RN ED experience required.

Additionally, if Weeks Medical Center is not your designated home base, you will be eligible for travel reimbursement in accordance with our standard travel policy.
