Our full-service emergency department serves the Paoli community, staffed by board-certified emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, highly trained emergency nurses, paramedics, and technicians. We care for all medical and traumatic emergencies across all age groups.
This unit provides 24-hour patient care to a diverse population. The ED handles urgent clinical needs with an average of 15,600 visits per year, staffed by IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians Emergency Medicine providers. Nurses work with electronic medical records and collaborate with independent care providers, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and emergency physicians.
