The Registered Nurse will implement the Nursing Process based on established Standards of Practice and ensure all patient care policies and procedures are adhered to in accordance with Garnet Health Hospital policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and New York State Licensure requirements. The RN must exhibit critical thinking, effectively organize and triage/prioritize, and implement evidence‑based nursing.

The compensation range for the role is $50.44–$77.58 hourly. This range is provided to comply with New York State law on salary transparency. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses, incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
The position primarily involves medium to light work requiring lifting and/or carrying objects up to 50 pounds. Bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and reaching are required. The job requires 20% sitting and 80% standing or walking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by spoken and written word is required.
