Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at Highland Park Hospital on the night shift. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will provide direct patient care, apply the nursing process, ensure regulatory compliance, supervise assigned unlicensed staff, and help deliver a high-quality patient experience. IL RN licensure, BLS/CPR, BSN preferred, and hospital experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Current professional nursing licensure in IL required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience.

What You Will Need
