Job summary

AdventHealth in Lake Mary, Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Night shift team. You will assess patients, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), is fluent in English, and demonstrates strong critical thinking, documentation skills, and compassion.

Qualifications

• Assess patients comprehensively across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.

• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care.

Shift

Nights - 7pm - 7 am with Weekend rotation

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.

• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Work Experience

• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
