Job summary

AdventHealth Davenport in Florida is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our night shift in a critical care setting. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and educate patients and families.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, RN license, BLS, and experience in critical care; ACLS preferred. You will work with Cerner/EPIC EMR and contribute to a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor preferred.
• Active RN license; BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in critical care environment; Cerner/EPIC familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and data gathering.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on findings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed with safety.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust plans as needed for outcomes.

Job Description:

• Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus *For Eligible Candidates

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self‑care strategies.
