We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Plainsboro, NJ. This full-time night shift role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The schedule is from 7p-7a, 36 hours per week, with 2 weekends per month and rotating holidays.

As an ED RN, you will treat patients with urgent medical needs, establish therapeutic relationships, and develop individualized care plans. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care coordination, and performing procedures such as IV insertions, assisting with chest tubes, managing cardiac emergencies, administering medications, and preparing patients for surgery.

Credentials

• Active NJ Registered Nurse License (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Required)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (Required)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN or in pursuit of one

Experience

• Minimum of 15 months recent nursing experience

Unit Information

• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4
• Support from ED technicians
• Locked behavioral health unit within ED
• Streamlined flow with no-wait waiting room during surge times
• Effective communication via iphones
