Full-time - Evening/Night shifts - 6:45pm-7:15am

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the Patient Care Services team. The RN is responsible and accountable for providing nursing care, managing patient and family care through the nursing process, utilizing independent judgment, collaboration, and communication with team members including ancillary, multidisciplinary care, and support services. The RN develops nursing care plans and implements established clinical pathways and protocols. The RN provides and delegates patient care activities based on patient needs and team skills, supervises care delivery, evaluates patient responses, revises care plans as needed, monitors progress, and prepares patients for discharge.

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• Less than 2 years of emergency care experience as a technician or intern preferred. PRN RNs must have at least 2 years of acute emergency experience to be placed in this work status. (Required)
• CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• RN - Registered Nurse
• ENCP - Emergency Nurse Pediatric
• CEN - Certified Emergency Nurse
• NIHSS - National Stroke Scale

Specific Requirements:

Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams are required. Strong customer service skills are necessary.
