Job Details

• Job Title: Registered Nurse

• Location: Clifton Springs Hospital
• Hours Per Week: Part Time (24 hours per week)
• Schedule: Rotating between Day/Evening (7am-7pm) and Evening/Night (7pm-7am), including weekends and holidays
• Note: Orientation is full time

Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you are the core of patient care at Rochester Regional Health, making a positive impact daily through compassionate and respectful service to patients, families, and visitors.

Unit Description

Join our Emergency Department, equipped with 11 medical beds and 6 psychiatric beds, providing urgent care for diverse needs including medical, surgical, trauma, pediatric, orthopedic, psychiatric, behavioral health, OB/GYN, and dental issues. This environment is fast-paced and diverse, offering daily new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered clinical care
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments using appropriate data
• Communicate and document assessments with the interdisciplinary team
• Develop and document individualized care plans
• Follow organizational policies and safety protocols
• Revise care plans based on evaluations and document updates
• Complete at least one clinical research utilization (CRU) form annually
• Accumulate at least 5 hours of nationally approved contact hours (CNE or CEU) per year
• Complete mandatory in-services and health screens timely
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• RN license in New York State
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred

Additional Information
