Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Sterling Heights area. You will deliver high-quality patient care during 4 x 10-hour night shifts (9:00 PM–7:30 AM) with rotating weekends and holidays, at Henry Ford Medical Center - Sterling Heights.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Other on-site services include laboratory, radiology and a pharmacy. Also offered at this site is a 24/7 emergency department and a walk-in clinic for non-emergency medical concerns.

What You Will Do

• Provide compassionate patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
• Maintain certifications and stay current with clinical knowledge and best practices.

What You Will Need

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit setting
