Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center in Mint Hill, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will provide rapid, compassionate, expert care to patients with diverse emergencies, perform rapid assessments, initiate life-saving interventions, and collaborate with physicians and the care team.

Shift: PRN Flex Dayshift and Nightshift. Location: Mint Hill Medical Center - 8201 Healthcare Loop Charlotte, NC 28215.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing; RN license required.
• One year relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state required.

What You’ll Do

Shift: PRN Flex Dayshift and Nightshift

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center, you’ll provide rapid, compassionate, and expert care to patients experiencing a wide range of illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. Your ability to think critically, prioritize quickly, and remain calm under pressure will be essential in delivering safe, high-quality care when patients need it most.

The Emergency Department cares for patients of all ages with diverse medical needs, including cardiac events, stroke, respiratory distress, trauma, orthopedic injuries, sepsis, behavioral health emergencies, and other acute illnesses and injuries. As an ED nurse, you’ll perform rapid assessments, initiate life-saving interventions, administer medications and treatments, collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and continuously monitor patients throughout their emergency care journey.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
