Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Registered Nurse Emergency Department role is based in Media, PA. The nurse provides direct patient care to individuals presenting with urgent and emergent conditions, including assessment, triage, implementation of nursing interventions, and ongoing evaluation of patient status. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs and critical changes, and ensuring accurate documentation in the medical record. The role involves educating patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans, while promoting safety, infection prevention, and adherence to hospital policies. The nurse actively participates in quality improvement initiatives and supports a culture of respect, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Emergency Nursing and Critical Care Medicine for the assessment and management of acute and complex conditions.
• Strong foundation in Nursing and Medicine principles to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care.
• Proven ability to provide high-quality Patient Care, including communication, advocacy, and education for patients and families.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and TNCC or equivalent trauma certifications preferred.
• Previous emergency department or acute care experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, with strong critical thinking and prioritization skills.
