Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join the Emergency Department at our partner, a respected Level IV Trauma medical center (approx. 235 beds) located in Kingman, AZ. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment, in compliance with hospital standards and regulations.

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled and committed Emergency Department Registered Nurses who excel in team environments and remain calm under pressure. The ideal candidate is dedicated to patient-centered care and ensuring patient safety through evidence-based nursing practices. You will play a crucial role in assessing patients, implementing care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon arrival and throughout their stay in the ED.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans based on assessment data and evidence-based practice.
• Implement appropriate nursing interventions accurately and safely.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, technicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain strict compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and hospital policies.
• Provide clear education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to established standards and utilizing critical thinking skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma program (BSN preferred). (Required)
• Licensure: Active Arizona RN license or compact state license (must obtain AZ license within 30 days of employment if using compact). (Required)
• Certifications:
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or client). (Required upon hire)
• ACLS & PALS (Required within 3 months of hire).
• Client (Emergency Severity Index) training (Required within 6 months of hire).
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) (Required within 24 months of hire).
• De-escalation techniques training (Required within 3 months of hire).
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as an RN in a clinical setting.
• One year of acute Medical/Surgical nursing experience is highly valued.
• CCRN or CEN certification is encouraged.
  
  

Incentives

• Relocation: $4,000 relocation assistance available.
• Bonus: $15,000 Sign-on Bonus (requires a 24-month commitment).
