Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a qualified nurse at Henry Ford Hospital to provide leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality patient care. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while mentoring staff and documenting patient teaching for families.

The role requires effective communication with patients, families, and the care team, and involves rotating weekends and holidays. BSN preferred with Michigan RN licensure and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; healthcare provider BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
• Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
