Halifax Health is seeking a Day shift Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Florida. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, coordinating with LPNs, CNAs and the unit team while considering age and development of patients.
Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, care planning, family involvement, teaching for discharge, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating as per the nursing process. The Registered Nurse is expected to direct, delegate, and coordinate all nursing care provided by the LPN, CNA, Patient Care Companion, and Unit Clerk consistent with their roles, responsibilities, and skill level. Assignments are performed appropriately to age and development level of the patient population being served.
