Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, uses the nursing process, and ensures safe medication administration, accurate documentation, and patient education.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree (BSN preferred), a current Texas license, and BLS certification, with at least 12 months RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Texas nursing license.
• Basic Life Support Certification; additional certifications as required.
• Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and care standards.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work under physical and environmental demands typical of a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Build relationships and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure safe medication and IV administration.
• Communicate clearly and evaluate understanding among team members and patients.
• Take responsibility for performance, professional development, and continuous improvement.
• Adhere to hospital standards and participate in patient education.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support quality care and team goals.
