Qualifications

• Current RN license (Iowa or compact state).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter Training (Child & Dependent Adult Abuse).
• ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire).
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); within 18 months of hire.
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course); within 18 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency care through rapid assessment, critical thinking, and evidence-based interventions.
• Respond confidently to high-acuity and life-threatening situations within scope of practice.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, seamless care.
• Delegate effectively, document accurately, and promote a culture of safety and professionalism.
