Job summary

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team in our Camden, NJ facility. The role requires delivery of patient care, supervision of care activities, and adherence to nursing standards using the nursing process.

Follows established policies with emphasis on teamwork, communication with internal customers, and Cooper core values. Full-time with 7am-7pm shifts, including weekends/holidays on rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NJ RN License and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required for some specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as part of a multidisciplinary health care team.
• Supervise and provide care to patients using the nursing process.
• Maintain excellent customer service while interfacing with staff, management and physicians.

Short Description

The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. Follows established policies and procedures. Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians. Applies Cooper core values. Other duties as required.

Education Requirements

Graduate ofNLN accredited School of Nursing

License/Certification Requirements

Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse); Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers);certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS)
