Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the 7pm-7am shift in Camden, NJ. The RN will work within a multidisciplinary care team, applying the nursing process to a group of patients, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to established procedures.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS certification, and the ability to rotate weekends/holidays. ACLS/NALS/PALS may be required for certain specialties; integration with Cooper core values is essential.

Qualifications

Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
Current NJ-RN License.
Current NJ-BLS Certification.
Current NJ-CNOR (Certified Nurse, Operating Room) preferred.
Certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS).

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and therapeutic use of self.
Communicate openly with staff, management and physicians.
Supervise and provide care to assigned patients with adherence to policies.
Apply Cooper core values.
Other duties as required.

Short Description
The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. Follows established policies and procedures. Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians. Applies Cooper core values. Other duties as required.
