Job summary

Phoebe Worth Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse on a PRN/per diem basis to provide professional nursing care and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

The role requires adherence to hospital standards, strong communication and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates hold an active Georgia RN license, BLS, PALS or equivalent within 1 year, ACLS within 6 months, and GSCC/NIHSS certifications within 6 months of hire; 2-year nursing degree

Qualifications

• RN with current Georgia license, BLS, PALS or obtained within 1 year of hire, ACLS within 6 months of hire, GSCC, NIHSS within 6 months of hire.
• 2 year/Associate degree in nursing is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years nursing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and practices.
• Assess patients, develop, implement, and evaluate plan of care.
• Attend staff meetings, complete mandatory in-services and competency evaluations on time.
• Demonstrate age-specific patient care and customer service in non-clinical areas.
