Job summary

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced nurse to provide direct nursing care in our Emergency Department. The role supports patient care policies and protocols, working the 3p-3a shift, three days per week with every third weekend and 0.9 FTE.

Responsibilities include coordinating care across disciplines, monitoring patient status, and ensuring education for patients and families. Requires current RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS within specified timelines.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• RN - Licensed as a Registered Nurse. Eligible to practice nursing in the State of Kentucky required upon hire AND
• BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 45 days of employment in this position AND
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 12 months of employment in this position AND
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification required within 12 months of employment in this position
