Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI seeks a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in the emergency/critical care setting during night shifts. You will support clinical leadership and ensure high-quality, cost-effective care.
Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager/Director, you will delegate tasks, participate in teaching and discharge planning, and respond to emergencies to stabilize patients until transfer.
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager/ Director (or designee) implements, supervises and evaluates the nursing care of each patient undergoing an emergency until the patient is stabilized or transitioned to the appropriate level of care. Utilizes the nursing process in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures, and with consideration of the aging process throughout Brown University Health, including all developmental stages, as well as cultural patterns. Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
