Job Description
Responsible for ensuring successful academic and personal development of registered nurses on Progressive care and stepdown.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Provides clinical instruction.
  • Creates a clinical environment which fosters students' academic growth and guides professional development.
  • Evaluates student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
  • Implements evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency.
  • Maintains professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training and academic courses.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • NJ RN License required.
  • BSN required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of acute care experience.
  • BLS, ACLS required.
  • Specialty knowledge, skills, and abilities may be required based on department/specialty group assigned.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
