UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking an Emergency Department Nurse Educator to shape the future of nursing through innovative teaching and hands-on clinical training. You will inspire and educate the next generation of nurses while collaborating with a passionate team in a teaching hospital setting.

Requirements include current NC RN license, at least three years of ED experience, a BSN, and a preference for a MSN in Nursing Education or Health Care Administration.

Qualifications

• RN with North Carolina license to practice
• Minimum three years clinical experience in Emergency Department
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred in Nursing Education or Health Care Administration
• Two years of teaching experience preferred; MSN within 3 years of hire

Responsabilités

• Educate and train Emergency Department nurses and staff
• Lead hands-on clinical training and use innovative teaching methods
• Collaborate with ED team to promote excellence in patient care
• Maintain nursing competencies and certifications as required

THE POSITION

Join our dedicated team as an Emergency Department NurseEducator, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nursing. In this dynamic position, you will inspire and educate the next generation of nurses through innovative teaching methods and hands-on clinical training. Collaborate with a passionate team committed to excellence and continuous learning in a supportive and engaging environment. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse by the North Carolina Board of Nursing with a minimum of three years clinical experience within the Emergency Department. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required. Master’s Degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, or Health Care Administration preferred. Two years of teaching experience preferred. MSN must be achieved within 3 years of hire date if not completed. Must show and maintain evidence of nursing competencies within practice area, including certifications required for area of practice (i.e., BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, etc.).
