Mercy Hospital – W Memorial Rd Emergency Department seeks an RN to provide direct patient care during night shifts. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients, while coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service.

You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality, uphold Mercy Service Standards, and contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on compassionate care and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Graduated from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure to practice nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or course completed within 30 days of hire.

Position Details:

Nights, Full Time, 36 hrs/wk Mercy Hospital - W Memorial Rd Emergency Department

Overview :

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

Education:

Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure:

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications :

Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. One or more certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department-required timeframe.
