Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Human Services, Ebensburg Center, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide consistent nursing care and support residents’ health. You’ll work in a team, observe closely, and communicate clearly to maintain wellness and safety.

Responsibilities include care delivery, health monitoring, treatment support, documentation, and safety procedures. 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, rotating days off; overtime as needed; free parking.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position focuses on delivering consistent nursing care and supporting the overall health of individuals in the facility. It involves teamwork, careful observation, and steady communication to maintain wellness and safety.

As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following duties:

• Care Delivery: Provide effective nursing services and apply professional standards to meet health needs
• Health Monitoring: Check individuals daily for changes and report concerns to the physician
• Treatment Support: Assist with exams, help implement physician orders, and participate in health interventions
• Documentation: Complete records accurately and in line with established procedures
• Communication: Exchange information with staff and communicate changes in health status
• Safety Practices: Carry out emergency actions, assist with lifting and positioning, and support safety measures

Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Full-time employment.
• Work hours are 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
• Rotating days off, work weekends and holidays as assigned.
