Job summary

Catawba Valley Medical Group seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care using the nursing process, across multiple practice areas. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs, while following CVMC policies and North Carolina Nurse Practice Act requirements.

Preferred candidates hold a BSN and must complete required ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications within specified timeframes for their assigned area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current NC RN license or licensure from Nursing Compact State.
• BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within three months of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care using the nursing process appropriate for the patient’s age and condition.
• Collaborates with other health care professionals to meet patient needs.
• Adheres to CVMC/departmental policies, procedures, and philosophy to deliver quality patient care and operates within the North Carolina Nurse Practice Act and CVMC Nursing Bylaws.

Education
