Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time position in New Jersey. The role delivers quality patient care using the nursing process, emphasizing safety and effective pain management.

Requires Associate's degree in Nursing and NJ RN license, with BLS certification; additional certifications (TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS, NRP, PALS) are preferred per unit. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a pay range of $45.60–$62.59 per hour for a 36-hour work week.

Qualifications

Education: Associate's degree required; NJ RN license.
Certification: AHA BLS required; TNCC/NIH Stroke Scale/ACLS/NRP/PALS recommended per unit.
Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred; strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities

Delivers quality care to patients through nursing process.
Assures patient safety by following policies and procedures.
Assists with pain management and both pharmacological and non-pharmacological measures.
Provides discharge planning to enable meaningful life activities.
Mobilizes resources for complex cases to maximize patient participation.
Communicates patient condition and coping strategies to patient and family.
Plans unit staffing and participates in committee and performance-improvement activities.
