Job summary

Ascension Tulsa is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Dialysis team on a full-time, days schedule (7am–7pm) with one call shift weekly. You will deliver hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, monitor patients, and collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers to tailor treatment plans for kidney disease patients.

Oklahoma RN licensure and a nursing diploma are required; BLS within 1 month of hire and dialysis experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Registered Nurse licensure (OK) is required.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to life-threatening complications during treatment.
• Teach home care strategies, fluid restrictions, and dietary changes to patients.

• Saves Lives Daily:Manages complex hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments, safely removing toxins and excess fluids from patients with acute or chronic kidney failure.
• Stabilizes Critical Patients:Monitors vital signs and responds instantly to life-threatening complications like drastic blood pressure drops or electrolyte imbalances during treatment.
• Empowers Patients and Families:Teaches home care strategies, fluid restrictions, and dietary changes so patients can manage their health and avoid repeat hospital stays.
• Drives Team Care:Partners with nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers to build and adjust personalized treatment plans that improve long-term patient health.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
