Halifax Health in Florida seeks a Registered Nurse for the Diagnostic Outpatient Care Unit (DOCU). The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, coordinating with LPNs, CNAs, and staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include ongoing assessment, documentation, teaching, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Requires FL RN licensure; bachelor’s degree preferred, unit orientation, and annual competency modules.
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating as per the nursing process. The Registered Nurse is expected to direct, delegate, and coordinate all nursing care provided by the LPN, CNA, Patient Care Companion, and Unit Clerk consistent with their roles, responsibilities, and skill level. Assignments are performed appropriately to age and development level of the patient population being served.
Unit is open M-F closed on holidays and weekends. There is STEMI call required with the Cath Lab RN.
