Genesys Health System, part of Henry Ford Health, is hiring a Registered Nurse in Diagnostic Cardiology based in Grand Blanc, Michigan. You will provide a full range of nursing services with professional judgment and focus on patient-centered care.

The role requires RN licensure in Michigan, BLS, and graduation from an approved RN program. You will coordinate care plans, educate patients, administer medications, monitor responses, and collaborate with care teams.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Certified BLS Provider from the American Heart Association obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the development of a multi-disciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay, resource use, and quality outcomes.
• Provide patient care that respects individual rights, dignity, values, culture, and expressed needs.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, medications, and self-care, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
• Administer medications, IVs, and blood products according to established policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient responses to interventions, recognize acute changes in patient conditions, and respond appropriately to ensure timely and effective care.
• Collaborate with case managers and other healthcare professionals to develop and review discharge plans, ensuring continuity of care.
