Job summary

Park Nicollet, part of HealthPartners, seeks an RN to join the Dermatology team in Minnesota. You will apply a structured nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in a clinic setting. The role requires MN RN licensure and BLS; WI license where applicable. You’ll contribute to patient experience and care quality.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm with a 4-day workweek structure in clinic, and a focus on compassionate care, confidentiality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate degree or diploma required.

Position Summary:

Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, scope of practice, along with recognized professional standards and Health Partner and employer specific protocols and policy.

Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skill and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights. Resolves concerns or complaints regarding patient care or service.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday; Work 4 days a week in clinic. Start time 7:30am - End around 4:30pm.

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
• Associate degree or diploma required

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

• Maintain a current Minnesota registered nurse's licensure.
• WI licensure required where applicable.
• Current BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. On-line only BLS certification is not accepted.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development necessary to provide appropriate care to the patient population served and ensure safety of patients.
• Possesses the qualities of strong critical thinking skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act
• Critical thinking, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Fluent in EMR (EPIC) use
• Understanding of Nursing Practice Act and Scope of Practice for various roles

Preferred Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Ambulatory Nursing Experience
• 1 year of prior experience in nursing preferred
