Dacotah Foundation is seeking a Registered Nurse for its recovery facilities. You will support medical and emotional wellbeing, monitor health, conduct assessments, and oversee medication administration with MA1-certified staff, ensuring safe, compassionate care.

Join a non-traditional nursing setting focused on recovery, with Monday–Friday daytime hours, no weekends, and a supportive team dedicated to client stability and community health.

Qualifications

• Active North Dakota RN license in good standing (or ability to obtain before start date).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and driving record check.

Responsabilités

• Monitor clients’ mental and physical health status and communicate updates with providers and outside care partners.
• Conduct nursing assessments, including new admission assessments and health screenings.
• Ensure medications are ordered, received, and available for clients as needed.
• Administer medications when required and oversee MA1 certified staff med duties.
• Coordinate medication orders with pharmacies and outside providers.
• Observe and document medication effectiveness or side effects.
• Provide supportive mental health care.
• Respond to client or staff emergencies in a calm, supportive manner and coordinate with hospitals, clinics, EMS, law enforcement, and other providers when necessary.
• Collaborate with local Human Service Center and leadership to coordinate care and meet client needs.
• Provide guidance, leadership, and support to residential staff during shifts.
• Train and oversee MA1-certified staff and ensure policies related to medication self-administration are followed.
