Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation. You will support the hospital's mission and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and excellent care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Texas RN license or eligibility, and a valid BLS certification, with at least six months of RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: Six months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative environment and uses communication and teamwork.
• Assumes nursing components of patient/family education and evaluates understanding.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment and ensures accurate documentation of patient information.
• Delivers medication and IV therapy safely and participates in ongoing professional growth.
