Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Augusta, GA (Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center) is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift (40 hours/week, M-F). You will provide comprehensive patient care, coordinate with the care team, educate patients and families, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

The role requires maintaining licensure and certifications (BLS, ACLS) and leadership within Shared Governance, while upholding confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Care Coordination: monitors, examines, and evaluates patient conditions and coordinates care plans.
• Patient Advocacy and Satisfaction: addresses patient concerns and educates patients and families.
• Performance Improvement: supports initiatives for better patient outcomes and safety.
• Professional Competency and Growth: maintains licenses, completes trainings, seeks development opportunities.
• Professional Leadership: mentors and supports peers, upholds confidentiality and safety standards.
