Job summary

Heartland Health Services - Central Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care, coordinate day-to-day patient activities, and educate patients and families. The RN will work with clinical teams across Heartland locations to improve outcomes and ensure compliance with laws and standards.

The role requires current RN licensure, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, strong communication skills, and proficiency with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of growth and development related to patient populations.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates day-to-day patient care activities and teaching.
• Monitors patient evaluation, treatment decisions, and related care.
• Maintains communication with the healthcare team and other sites.
• Performs clerical duties and documentation in the EHR.
• Ensures compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
