Our medical intercare unit offers elbow-to-elbow support and comes fully equipped to help you do what YOU do best: provide for our patients!

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

• 42-bed Medical Stepdown unit with bedside hemodynamic measuring (21 beds) and 24-hour monitoring.
• 21 medical beds with telemetry and continuous O2 monitoring.
• Care for trached vent-dependent patients, Bipap/CPap rescue needs, and Hi Flow O2 delivery systems.
• Supported by a nurse educator, evening clinical nurse coordinator, respiratory therapy, APP/MD on-site, and ancillary staff (monitor techs, ambulation techs, PCTS, Operations assistants).
• We provide supportive, individualized, and tailored orientation.
• The only major referral care center, Level 1 trauma center, and pediatric trauma center in the area.

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time, day shift (7a-7:30p)
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Location: Baystate Medical Center Springfield

PAY:

• New Grad RN (0-1 year of RN Licensure): $41.00
• Experienced RN (1+ years of RN Licensure): $43.16-$65.00

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pass the Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and hold a license in Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required
• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred
