Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for our Akron, OH specialty OR team. The role requires strong recent CVOR experience and proven scrubbing skills for open heart and vascular procedures, with emphasis on wired vascular cases.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years CVOR experience and at least 18 months of permanent CVOR tenure, plus an active AHA BLS certification. Day shifts with on-call rotations may apply.

Job description

CVOR Registered Nurse

At least 2 years of recent experience is required; experience in CVOR is preferred.

Candidates must be skilled in scrubbing for open heart and vascular surgeries, including wired vascular procedures.

A minimum of 18 months of permanent CVOR experience is necessary.

Certifications

• Must hold a current AHA BLS certification.

Shift Details

Day shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

On-Call Requirements

• 1-2 weekday on-call shifts per week, starting at the end of the shift until 7:00 AM the next morning
• 1 weekend on-call shift every 6 weeks, covering 24 hours on Saturday and 24 hours on Sunday
• 1 working shift on either Saturday or Sunday every 6 weeks, usually coordinated with weekend on-call
• Possible participation in holiday on-call rotation if required
