Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a registered nurse for our CV Diagnostics department. You will use medications and equipment to test the heart, perform echos and ultrasounds, and collaborate with the medical team to plan and deliver patient care.

The role requires RN licensure and a nursing degree, with a preference for a Bachelor's. Hours are days, full-time, with a weekend rotation every other month and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring.
• Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions.
• Collaborates with physicians and colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.

Department Details

This position works within our CV Diagnostics departments using medication and equipment to test the heart as well as performing echos and ultrasounds. Candidates with ICU, ER or cardiac experience encouraged to apply!

Hours fall between 7:30a-4:30pm Monday-Friday with call rotation about one weekend every other month.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
