Job summary

McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Unit to provide total patient care for adult ICU and telemetry patients in a day shift setting.

The role encompasses recovery of post-open-heart, cardio-thoracic and vascular surgical patients, with management through hospital stay to discharge. Opportunities for professional development, a collaborative team, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Oregon required (Oregon).
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of critical care experience preferred.
• BSN/CCRN encouraged.
• Must complete ICU training/competencies within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Total patient care for adult critically ill and telemetry cardiovascular patients.
• Recovery of immediate post open-heart, cardio-thoracic and vascular surgical patients.
• Management of Pre and Post PCI patients, AMI, cardiogenic shock, rhythm disturbances.
• Assist with cardiac procedures such as cardio versions, TEE, pericardiocentesis, transvenous pacemaker, device implants, including those requiring moderate sedation.

• Hourly Base Rate: $50.96 - $84.15
• Shift: 0700-1930

Job Summary:

• Total patient care for adult critically ill and telemetry cardiovascular patients.
