Qualifications

Registered Nurse Critical Care GI Unit SCH SJC

Salary: $38.97-52.62 USD

Facility: Sisters of Charity Hospital St Joseph Campus

Shift: Shift 1

Status: Part Time w/Benefits

FTE: 0.6

Bargaining Unit: CWA Local 1168

Exempt from Overtime: No

Work Schedule: Days with Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Hours: Variable start times (6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm) with 6 Saturdays per year

Summary

Responsible for documentation of patient care and providing a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff. Collaborates with other disciplines to revise patient care plans based on changing patient needs. Knowledgeable in medication preparation and administration, including possible side effects and contraindications. Initiates patient teaching for patients and families as necessary.

Education

  • Basic Life Support certification
Experience
  • One (1) year GI Unit experience preferred or one (1) year Operating Room experience or completion of a postgraduate Peri-Operative Program
