Job description

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, performing, and evaluating nursing care to meet patient needs, promoting positive outcomes and compassionate interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostics according to policies.
• Conduct assessments within scope of practice and unit standards.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement individualized care plans, including education and discharge planning.
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness and revise care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
• Delegate tasks, make assignments, and adjust care based on patient acuity and team skills.
• Participate in evidence-based practice initiatives, quality, and safety programs.
• Engage in unit decision-making and support organizational goals like Magnet standards.
