Job summary

CFG Health Systems seeks a Nursing Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to regulatory standards across contracted correctional facilities. The role designs, implements, and maintains compliance programs, coordinating audits and monitoring activities with the Health Services Administrator and health staff.

The candidate will educate staff, revise site policies, and ensure alignment with NCCHC, ACA, NJ Admin Code 10-A, and PBNDS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; master's preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience.
• Strong credibility, independence, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of correctional healthcare compliance and regulations (NCCHC, ACA, NJ Administrative Code 10-A, PBNDS).
• Experience in training and development.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with internal/external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Designs, implements, and facilitates a systematic approach to ensure awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements, including completion of audits and monitoring systems. Works with the Health Services Administrator to revise site-specific policies and procedures to maintain compliance with standards, regulations, and contracts. Acts as a liaison to external audit consultants and provides education to health staff to promote compliance.
