Job description

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse for a Correctional assignment in Redgranite, Wisconsin.

Overview

This travel nursing position requires a registered nurse to provide care in a corrections facility for a 26‑week assignment starting May 25, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Work three 12‑hour shifts per week (36 hours total) from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM.
• Work weekend and holiday hours from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, rotating every third holiday and weekend.
• Gather and triage Health Service Requests from units.
• Coordinate daily schedules and handle urgent sick calls.
• Manage follow‑up appointments from provider referrals and RN follow‑ups.
• Assist providers with chronic care condition guidelines.
• Support MD/AMD with dual‑role responsibilities, including verbal orders and off‑site provider consultations.
• Complete requests via the Cerner messaging system.
• Serve as nurse clinician for general population and restricted housing units.
• Provide long‑term care skills for patients in high‑severity units during illness or post‑operative recovery.
• Execute all inpatient responsibilities within the corrections environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience or comfort working in a corrections setting is preferred.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.

Compensation

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,196.00

Bonus: $500 total ($250 after the first 13 weeks and an additional $250 after completion of 26 weeks).
