Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). The 12-bed unit cares for complex cardiac patients, including post-surgical and critical chronic conditions.

The role requires an NJ RN license, current BLS, and at least one year of acute inpatient experience. NLN-accredited nursing education and ACLS/PALS may be required for some specialties. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.

Short Description

The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.

Overview

The Coronary Care Unit is a 12-bed cardiac intensive care unit. The CCU cares for complex cardiac critical care patients including structural heart (TAVR), pre-cardiac surgery, advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and other critical cardiac disease processes. The CCU nurses receive specialized training to care for our critical care cardiac patients

Experience Required

A minimum of one year or more of acute care experience in an inpatient setting is preferred.
