Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse who demonstrates competence by integrating theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in the care of assigned patients and families. The RN independently assesses, plans, and evaluates using the Nursing Process, aligning practice with ANA standards and hospital policies.

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; NYS RN licensure; BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess one year of experience.
• Current licensure in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Other specialty certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Independently assess patients and families and document findings.
• Utilize evidence-based patterns to guide practice and provide nursing care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
