Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality resident care with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will review medical records to ensure nursing practice complies with state and federal guidelines, and you will follow physician orders and care plans to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Must possess a current CPR license

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
• Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility
