Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, independent thinking and judgment.
• Strong communication of complex topics to diverse audiences.
• Nursing refresher may be required after three years out of acute care.
• One year medical-surgical, PCU or critical care experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a designated group of patients.
• Coordinate, direct and participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain quality of care per standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Document patient care in records and ensure confidentiality.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and manage supplies.
• Travel locally between system locations as needed.
