Job summary

PIH Health is a nonprofit regional health care network serving a large and diverse community across Los Angeles County and surrounding regions. As an RN in our facility, you will independently apply the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care to a patient group within a coordinated, multidisciplinary team.

You will work closely with physicians, staff and families to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will maintain compliance with the California Nurse Practice Act and state board

Qualifications

• Current California RN License.
• BLS from American Heart Association.
• ACLS from American Heart Association.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 6 months of employment.
• LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment.
• CPI/VIP within 3 months of employment.
• 6 months of experience or acceptance in/completion of a new Grad/Internship program.

Responsibilities

• Independent nursing process delivery for a group of patients.
• Deliver individualized quality patient care through coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments and patient’s family.
• Comply with the California Nurse Practice Act, Article 2, Section 2725 of the Business and Professions Code.
